9.6mPro Fisher

The 9.6m Pro Fisher is Sea Raider’s flagship offshore mono-hull, with a fully enclosed driver’s cabin and the range, capacity and dry ride that long-distance offshore work demands. It is plate-built from 5083 marine-grade aluminium — a 6mm bottom, 5mm topsides and a heavy 8mm transom — and the hull is foam filled and water-tight for positive buoyancy.

Rocket launchers, gunwale rod holders, a 60-litre live bait tank, a self-draining deck, anti-slip marine flooring, a bilge pump and LED navigation lights are all standard, and a 900-litre fuel tank gives it the range for long days wide of the bar behind 400hp to 600hp of outboard power.

Electronics and safety gear — navigation systems, sounders, display screens, radar, antennas and solar components — are available as optional extras and are fitted and commissioned here in Australia before handover.

2. Is the listed price inclusive of engines, trailer, and electronics?
No, the advertised price is for the boat hull only. Engines, trailer, electronics and additional accessories can be added as optional extras to create a fully customised package.

3. Is the 9.6m Pro Fisher suitable for long-range offshore fishing?
Yes. With a 900-litre fuel tank, a 3.00m beam and heavy-duty plate construction, it is built for extended offshore trips, offering stability, comfort and confidence in challenging conditions.

4. What fishing and deck features come as standard?

5. Can the boat be customised for commercial or charter use?

6. What materials and safety features are used in construction?
5083 marine-grade aluminium plate — 6mm bottom, 5mm topsides, 8mm transom — with a foam-filled buoyancy system, giving strength, corrosion resistance and enhanced safety for offshore boating.

7. Can this boat be built to commercial survey?
Yes — a commercial survey build can be ordered, but it has to be requested before construction starts and is quoted separately. It cannot be added to a boat that has already been built as a recreational vessel. Note that at 9.6m this boat is under 12 metres, which matters for some exemption pathways. 8. Where are Sea Raider boats built?
Our boats are proudly assembled and finished here in Australia. The hulls are manufactured overseas by a trusted partner, and everything else — trailer assembly, motor installation, electronics and full fit-out — is completed locally by our team to meet Australian standards, including full compliance, registration and quality control.

9. What warranty do Sea Raider boats come with?
Each boat comes with a 5-year hull warranty and a 6-year warranty on the outboard motor.

10. Where can I view or test drive a Sea Raider?

11. Do you deliver interstate?
Yes — we deliver Australia-wide. Interstate freight is quoted per delivery (for example, transport to WA is approximately $6,500 including cradling, insurance and road freight). Queensland packages include boat and trailer registration; interstate registration is arranged in your home state and is not included.

12. Do you accept trade-ins?
Yes, we accept trade-ins. Send through some photos and details of your current boat and we’ll take a look.

13. What are the current lead times?
Custom orders are typically 2–3 months. We usually have stock boats available for immediate pickup, and as a transom partner we can install a motor in roughly 1–2 weeks.

14. Is finance available?
Yes — boat finance is available through our finance partner. Ask us and we can guide you through the options.

15. Can I insure the boat through you?
Not directly — Sea Raider is not an insurer — but our insurance partner, New Wave Insurance, quotes and issues boat cover online, and no survey is needed on a new boat quoted online. See our boat insurance page. Sea Raider may receive a referral fee if you take out a policy.
