Boat Trailer Finance
Low-cost trailer boat finance is available on every trailer in the Sea Raider range – on a trailer-only purchase, or on a boat-and-trailer package. Whether you are replacing a rusted trailer under a boat you already own, or putting a new boat and trailer together, you can spread the cost rather than pay it all up front. What can be financed
- A trailer on its own. Any of the six standard trailers, from the 4.8m galvanised trailer at $2,195 to the 8.2m aluminium trailer at $15,000, for a boat of any brand.
- A boat-and-trailer package. A new Sea Raider with its trailer financed together, so there is one payment for the rig. Ask about custom-built trailers and the Boss-range tandem packages at the same time.
- Options fitted at the yard. Extras such as a D-Flector boat stone guard, a spare wheel or a skid or roller upgrade can be included in the same quote so they are part of the amount financed.
We do not publish lender names, rates or terms on this page because they depend on the amount, the term you choose and your circumstances. Ask us when you enquire and we will put you in touch with the options that fit.
What to have ready
A finance enquiry moves faster when the basics are to hand. Have the following ready when you call or fill in the form:
- The trailer you want – the model and any options, or your boat’s length and loaded weight so we can recommend one.
- The purchase price – the trailer price plus options, registration and delivery if you want those included.
- Your deposit, if you plan to put one down, and the term you have in mind.
- Personal and income details – photo ID, proof of income and your residential address are the usual requirements for any consumer finance application.
- Business details if the trailer is for commercial use – ABN and business name.
How it works

- Get a quote. We quote the trailer, options, registration and delivery in writing so the amount to finance is clear.
- Apply. Tell us you want finance and we will point you to the application. Approval is between you and the lender.
- Collect or take delivery. Once the finance is settled the trailer is set up to your boat at Cleveland Marina, Brisbane, and collected or delivered.
Finance on a trailer for an existing boat
Many trailer-only buyers are replacing a trailer that has rusted out or is under-rated for the boat it carries. If the old trailer’s ATM is below the boat’s loaded weight, finance lets you step up to the right rating – for example from an unbraked trailer to the 4.8m 1200kg trailer with mechanical override brakes, or from a single axle to the 5.7m tandem. Registration and delivery
Queensland registration can be arranged on request – ask for a price – and interstate buyers register in their home state. Delivery is priced by state as transport from Brisbane; the rates are on the registration and delivery page. Both can be included in the quoted amount if you would rather finance the whole package.
