Sea Raider’s Vision
To build the boat you would build for yourself — if you had a plate shop, three generations on Moreton Bay, and no reason to cut a corner.
We want to be the boat an angler chooses on the strength of the hull, not the size of the brochure. Every Sea Raider is 5083 marine-grade plate, foam filled and water-tight, rigged and water-tested here in Queensland, and backed for five years.
That is the whole of it. The rest of this page is the detail behind it — what we build toward, what we commit to, and where your boat is actually put together.
Three generations on the same water
It started in 1972, when our father first fished the waterways from Moreton Bay down to the Gold Coast Broadwater. Three generations later we are still on the same water, and it still shapes what we build — because the conditions that punish a boat here are the conditions we grew up in.
That is why the range is plate rather than pressed, why every hull is foam filled, and why the deck drains itself. None of it is styling. It is what a bar crossing and a wind-against-tide chop ask of a boat.

We would rather tell you what is not in the base price than have you find out at handover. Every model page lists what is standard, what is not, and what it costs to add.
Honest about how it is made
The hulls are manufactured overseas by a long-term partner — one of the world’s leading aluminium boat builders. Everything after that happens here: trailer assembly, motor installation, electronics, full fit-out, compliance and registration, all completed by our own team at Cleveland Marina to Australian standards.
We say that plainly rather than burying it, because customers ask and they deserve a straight answer. It is also the arrangement that lets us put a 7.5m plate boat on a trailer at the price we do, without taking anything out of the hull to get there.
Every boat is water-tested before it is handed over. Not sampled — every boat.
How a Sea Raider comes together
Frame first, then the floor, then the fit-out. These are our own build photos, in roughly the order it happens.
Sixteen boats, one standard
The range runs from the 6.25m Centre Console through to the 10m Shark Cat — sixteen boats across six families, in monohull and catamaran. They differ in length, beam, layout and power. They do not differ in how they are built.
Same alloy. Same welded internal frame. Same foam fill, same self-draining deck, and the same five-year hull warranty on a 6.25m as on the flagship.
