Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What size and weight rating does the 8.2m Aluminium Boat Trailer have?
The 8.2m Aluminium Boat Trailer is 27 ft (around 8.2 m) in length and has a maximum payload/ATM of 3,490 kg, making it suitable for larger aluminium and fibreglass boats in that size range.

2. Which boats can this trailer carry?
This trailer is designed to carry larger boats up to approximately 8 m hull length, offering a strong platform for Aussie aluminium boats and centre console or offshore models when matched to your boat’s weight.

3. What are the key features that make it suitable for towing?
The 8.2m Aluminium Boat Trailer includes heavy‑duty components such as double axles with hydraulic brakes, 15″ wheels, and a robust aluminium frame, giving you stable and reliable towing performance on highways and launch ramps.

4. What are the benefits of an aluminium trailer over a galvanised one?
Aluminium trailers are lighter and more corrosion‑resistant than galvanised steel, which is especially beneficial if you frequently launch in saltwater environments and want lower long‑term maintenance.

5. Does the trailer come with lighting and brake systems installed?
Yes, this trailer is fitted with hydraulic brakes and LED lighting systems, improving towing safety, visibility, and compliance on Australian roads.

6. Can accessories be added to the trailer?
Yes. While the base trailer comes well equipped, many boat owners add accessories such as spare wheel mounts, adjustable support rollers, guide poles, or winches to make loading and towing easier. (General industry practice — not specifically listed, but common for trailers like this)

Absolute weapon on the water, build quality (you can’t fault it), My opinion is to get a walk through transom with bench seat and extra low lying live bait tank. As per a Profisher model. Get all their gear/ options as it is high quality. Definitely recommend.

I had several quotes locally in Victoria for an aluminium trailer for the 7.5 Profisher and even with the fee to assemble the trailer and upgrade it the local trailers were over double the price.

My mate had 150, was great. Mines got 200, is great. Both great. Only thing to be mindful of is the difference in weight makes the transom sit a little lower in the water

You know they supply military vessels and commercial vessels right? That they produce currently 800 boats a year worldwide? Their welders are all certified they use only fronius double pulse synergic welders and company’s are on a continuous path of improvement. Then the kicker! The price ex factory wow
